Workshop: Tuesday, 12 February 2008
The Protected Disclosures Act provides that employees who make protected disclosures (blow the whistle) are protected against acts by employers which amount to occupational detriments. Consequently employers must be very careful when dealing with whistleblowers.
In the light of this Act every employer should ask: what is a protected disclosure; and, if the employee is simply making unfounded allegations against other employees, what can and should an employer do?
We invite you to attend our workshop in which we will discuss the latest cases dealing with claims brought against employers by alleged whistleblowers and how it impacts on your business.
