Harries took up art whilst he was in primary school as an extra mural activity. His teacher entered his work in provincial competitions where he received many medals and certificates. Harries is currently a third year student at Artist Proof Studio. His art is inspired by his own life experiences and he hopes to organise solo exhibitions both at home and abroad. Harries also wishes to present inspirational art classes to children on weekends in his township on Orange Farm. He believes firmly that your background does not determine what you will become in the future, but rather your interests, passions and perseverance.
